New Master Blockmaker�

The number of Master Blockmakers� continues to increase as more Blockmaker Workshops are completed at the World Center for Concrete Technology in Alpena, Michigan. During the Product Handling workshop held during the last week of October 2001, Darryl Davis of Krehling Industries, Inc. earned Master Blockmaker certification. Darryl is the third person from Krehling Inudstries to achieve this recognition.

Blockmakers Workshops originated in 1954 to assist in developing qualified professionals in the concrete products industry. The workshops are a joint partnership between the new World Center for Concrete Technology, Alpena Community College and Besser Company. All Master Blockmakers have successfully completed five predetermined courses that prepare each individual in the efficient and effective production of quality concrete products.
